With this visa you can Travel to Australia:

as a tourist - for example, to cruise or have a holiday

to visit family or friends

as a business visitor

You can study or train for up to 3 months in total on this visa. If your main reason for travelling to Australia is to study, you should apply for a student visa.

eVisitor

Visit Australia as often as you wish in a 12-month period. Stay up to 3 months each time you enter Australia.
What This Visa Allows You to Do:
This visa enables you to travel to Australia for the following purposes:

Tourism: Take a holiday, go on a cruise, or explore the country as a tourist.

Visiting Family or Friends: Spend time with loved ones living in Australia.

Business Visits: Attend meetings, conferences, or engage in short-term business activities.

Study or Training

You can undertake study or training in Australia for up to 3 months with this visa. However, if your primary purpose for traveling is to study, a student visa may be more suitable.

Subclass 771

Transit visa

This visa allows you up to 72 hours to transit Australia on your way to another country. You can also use this visa if you need to join a ship as a crew member and you hold a Maritime Crew Visa. If you already hold an Australian visa you may not need a Transit visa. Check VEVO or your ImmiAccount first. If we grant you a Transit visa this will end most other Australian visas that you may hold.
